Audiovisual Production for the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism (INGUAT)
As a photographer and videographer specializing in tourism, I have collaborated with the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism (INGUAT) to create visual content that highlights Guatemala as a must-visit destination. My work goes beyond capturing stunning images—I focus on storytelling that engages audiences and inspires them to explore the country.
This project has required on-location production in diverse and often challenging environments, from colonial cities to remote natural wonders, adapting to various conditions to ensure high-quality content. Additionally, I have worked on professional photo and video editing, ensuring that every piece showcases the country’s cultural and natural richness.
Storytelling has been a key element of my approach, blending dynamic visuals with narratives that convey the identity and significance of each location. I have also collaborated closely with INGUAT’s creative teams, aligning my work with their institutional vision and communication strategies.
Through this experience, I have refined essential skills in audiovisual production, visual storytelling, and teamwork, delivering content that not only informs but also inspires and makes an impact on both national and international audiences.

I’ve worked on many projects, but here are a few of the ones I enjoyed the most:
Dance of the Paach
(traditional dance in honor of corn, performed by the Mam people in San Pedro Sacatepéquez, San Marcos, Guatemala)
I had the opportunity to document the Dance of the Paach, one of the most significant traditions of the Mam people in San Pedro Sacatepéquez, San Marcos, Guatemala. This project involved capturing the essence of the dance through photography and video, highlighting the deep connection to corn and the indigenous worldview.
My work included on-location production, adapting to various environmental conditions to capture images and videos that reflect the energy and spirituality of the dance. The professional editing of the images and the creation of a summary video for INGUAT's social media were key to creating engaging content that would connect with both local and international audiences.
This project allowed me to further develop my skills in audiovisual production, storytelling, and adapting to challenging conditions, while capturing the beauty and cultural significance of one of the country's most iconic traditions.
Gastronomic Video and Photography Series: Celebrating Local Cuisine in Guatemala
I had the opportunity to capture the essence of Guatemalan cuisine through a series of photographs and videos that celebrate both the most prominent chefs and those shaping innovative cuisine in the country. The series began as a tribute to chefs featured on the prestigious 50 Best Latam 2024 list, such as Mercado 24 by Pablo Díaz and Sublime by Sergio Díaz, and quickly expanded to include other award-winning restaurants and chefs from previous years, such as Diacá by Débora Fadull and Flor de Lis by Diego Téllez.
This project not only celebrated the honorees but also broadened its focus to other restaurants and chefs who, with their unique culinary offerings, combine innovative techniques and local ingredients to create authentic dining experiences. From the artisanal pizza at Lapero Pizza by Nills Saubes, a French chef based in Guatemala, to the iconic Doña Mela food stand at the Central Market, and the traditional pizzas of La Familia Pizzería in Antigua Guatemala, each capture reflects the diversity and creativity that defines the country's cuisine.
My work involved documenting the culinary process, highlighting the textures and colors of the dishes, and telling the story behind each offering through the lens, with the goal of showcasing the culinary artistry and passion of Guatemalan chefs. The videos and photographs not only capture the beauty of the food but also emphasize the chefs' commitment to promoting local gastronomy, both for the local community and international visitors.
